SAVAGE RIFLE TRIGGERS – UPGRADE OPTIONS – EASY ACCURACY
I’m going to repeat here what I often repeat on my sites with regard to improving rifle accuracy (or just about any other firearm). A rifle is only as accurate as its weakest link allows for. Unless the manufacturer of your rifle supplied a premium trigger the first improvement must be either a trigger job or aftermarket trigger. There’s an old saying that gun triggers are designed by lawyers. Factory savage rifle triggers often have heavy inconsistent gritty pulls. It’s also worth noting that even though Savage Arms ACCUTRIGGER premium trigger is better than standard factory savage rifle trigger it still leaves quite a bit of room for improvement.
In my opinion do not even consider a Savage aftermarket barrel until you replace the factory trigger.
